Food at it is best Posted on July 13, 2009 by ApostropheAbuse Reply Kay sent in this photo of the Towne Grill, …a favorite diner spot. We always read the sign as “Town-EE Grill. Food At It Is Best.” The odd thing is, this is its second location … and when they painted the new sign on the new location, they kept the abused apostrophe. Tradition!

Chicken Leg’s Dinner Posted on July 6, 2009 by ApostropheAbuse 5 This photo was sent in by Lindsay, who …found this sign outside Wrigleysville Dogs which, surprisingly, is not in Wrigleysville but in Wrigleyville. Two bad there are two chicken legs in the sign, otherwise one could claim the sign meant “Chicken leg is dinner”. 😉

What, no Tuesday’s or Thursday’s? Posted on July 3, 2009 by ApostropheAbuse 6 James writes: This sign is outside the Sydney Swans Social Club. Which I’m a member of. They do a steak and a beer for $14 and they show football matches live on television. But against that, they’re illiterate.
Meter’s Takes Quarter’s Only Posted on July 3, 2009 by ApostropheAbuse 6 Laurel writes: This is in a parking lot in Cincinnati. As my brother pointed out, only 4 words on the sign and 3 of them are wrong.
