It’s too bad that the most expensive signage (the neon) is the one with the apostrophe mistake. Either that, or every other sign is incorrect:
…maybe there is a “Thai” Herb, and this is his restaurant.
…now available at the Blue Onion Bistro…
SO, DOES VETERANS DAY HAVE A FUCKING APOSTROPHE OR WHAT?: ”
If you’re like me, you’ve spent autumn’s chilly Saturdays sipping wine by the fire and thinking, ‘Where the heck does the apostrophe go in the upcoming Veterans Day, and should there be one at all?'”
BARBARA WALLRAFF: Vets get thanks, no apostrophe: “As Veterans’ Day approaches, I see it written ‘Veteran’s Day’ everywhere. Is Nov. 11 the day of a veteran or of veterans in general?”
…then again, it’s a fake holiday, so who cares?
