I knew that the cupcake trend had pretty much jumped the shark when this local eatery started carrying them . . . but I was still pretty upset by this egregious abuse of apostrophe’s 😉

Linda snapped the attached while waiting for a prescription at Peoples' Pharmacy in Austin TX.
She didn't mention if she bought the single Fruit Cup, or if that day's had already been purchased.

This is the display of a bespoke cake supplier in West St., Dunstable, Bedfordshire, UK.  Why do all the plurals suffer apostrophe abuse EXCEPT the words “needs” and “occasions” (bottom line)? You’ve gotta love the inconsistency !

September’s page of the Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog wall calendar brings us headlines with two missing apostrophes, an extra “e”, and — bonus! — a comma in place of a colon. This town needs a punctuation hero.
