When in doubt as to whether or not an “e” is required to create a plural, use a small, indistinct apostrophe. Apparently it’s better to abuse an apostrophe than to misspell a plural. Thanks, Dan Quayle! Reply ↓

Ahem, shouldn’t it be Corned beef?
