Watching a rerun of the 2012 Poker Championships, my man saw this. We had a ‘robust discussion’ about where the apostrophe should appear.
Any suggestions?
AA: That is correct. Singular: master’s degree. Plural: master’s degrees.

According to the Associated Press style, the apostrophe is correct.
Agreed! This one is possessive as well. It’s the degree of the Master, or the Master’s degree.
