Wrapp’s Panini’s

This store has now closed, though sadly not due to its inability to punctuate.  You can see the word “panini’s” on the canopy, a term that tortured me every time I walked past it, given that “panini” is already plural, for Pete’s sake.
This was in the neighborhood near Columbia University, but the pedagogical influence of the academy clearly had no effect.

(Thanks, Karen!)

Are you sure it wasn’t the punctuation that did in this store?
    Cuz that would be right.

I had no idea (until very recently) that “panini” was plural. (I obviously don’t know much Italian!) “-)
