I may have broken the rules by taking a picture of this sign, but given then number of grammatical rules broken in a single two word sentence….

AA: Perhaps this is an extreme abbreviation of “Northern Chestnut“, and the sign is simply describing where to take a picture of the tree.

Sorry! Best Ever Childrens Game?

This Christmas we played the once-popular 1970s board game Sorry! with our children who, I have to say, enjoyed it very much. The strapline on the box says “the best ever childrens game which combines fun, simplicity, and rapid movement”…and poor punctuation, it would seem.
