Time to worry about you're child's education

Jessica sent in this instruction sheet sent home by her daughter's first grade reading teacher:

It's interesting that the your/you're confusion occurs with both references to "A.R.".

The Mama's and the Papa's

Joe writes that this album cover has always bothered him, but clearly this was produced when the band was known as The Mamacitas And The Papasans:

7 Day's A Week at Richen's

Debbie snapped this picture

...at Richen's restaurant in Lincoln City, OR. They also had Fry's on the menu. They were somewhat forgiven though, because my halibut eggs benedict was great.

Subway Footlong's

Ben spotted this sign in Denver.

The other side of the sign still reads "Enjoy the New Year" in late September, so apparently the sign is not a top priority at this particular Subway location.

Separating the Men's from the Boys

Aaron spotted this sign at Target.

There is a similar sign for the "WOMEN'S/GIRLS" fitting room.

Guess they couldn't figure out if the possessive form needed an apostrophe or not. I certainly don't think Target is suggesting this is the room for men to check if boys fit.

Linda Lou's Linen's

Marisa spotted this one in Hurst, TX:

Quesadilla's at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival

...and hand-written WRAP's.

(Thanks, Kate!)

"Stir-Fry's" at China Buffet

...with bonus unnecessary quotation marks!

Name Bracelet's

Julie snapped this photo

...in a bead store in Uptown Minneapolis. I just had to keep asking myself..."Name Bracelet's WHAT?"

Perhaps there is only one, and it is $6.00.

Star's & Men's

Grant writes:

This blackboard, in a huge shopping mall in Auckland, New Zealand, displays a plethora of felonies against the English language. I wonder why it's necessary to use a lower-case s for the plurals in STAR's and MEN's, but not in WOMENS or SHOES. And it appears that somebody has tried, unsuccessfully, to obliterate the apostrophe in MEN's.

Two Fer's @ Applebee's

Geoffrey sent in this photo from his Applebee's table on Long Island, NY:

Ferrets? Ferns? Ah, they must be abbreviating "fermented beverages".

Up-Do's in Hollister, CA

Jamie spotted this sign at a hair salon in Hollister, CA :

Kids's Love'em

J O photographed the menu of a local hot dog walk-up restaurant:

Kids's love the darnedest things...

Associate's Only

Nick took this picture at a Wal-Mart in Appleton, WI:

Older Peoples Health

Nicole writes:

I went to visit an elderly relative in the Auckland Hospital's geriatric ward. As I was leaving, I noticed that the sign opposite the elevator door was missing an apostrophe. I wonder if the signwriter was confused about the apostrophe and simply omitted it.

Popsicle's at Smith's

Brittany spotted this at Smith's Grocery Store in Santa Fe, NM:
