Drink’s, Menu’s, and Tip’s

The other day my husband and I went to a restaurant and had the worst service ever, though we were the only customers in the restaurant. My irritation only got worse as we went to the cashier and saw these signs, all with incorrect apostrophe usage. Argghh!



They *could* get a pass on the Tips jar; sometimes a stem is just a stem. Based on the remaining abuses, however, I think not.

    … Although.. "No outside food or drink is allowed" does make sense…

    I love the way the first sign also uses comic sans, a font much misused.

    One could argue that the first sign is correct when interpreted as No outside food or drink is allowed.
