How is this wrong? The disease was discovered by Alois Alzheimer, and so it's his (possessive) disease see the Alzheimer's Association, for example.

I just discovered your blog. I'm guessing you're the sort of person who fusses over punctation and therefore, your heart stops and your mind reels when you get these in? Because I certianly am.

@Jumpyham: your comment is a wonderful mess, but needs more apostrophes.
Nnaylime: The apostrophe in "Alzheimer's" is correct but not in "year's." You never use an apostrophe to pluralize a word.
