Links and visuals illustrating an orthographic pet peeve.

(Thanks, Justin!)

We have a Port O Call here in New Orleans, but I can’t remember if there’s an apostrophe after the O or not.
They couldn’t decide between “Port o’ Call” and “Port of Call”…so they compromised…I guess??
Maybe the apostrophe is standing in for “booty” and this “bar and grill” is really a “house of ill repute.” Points for using apostrophes in my comment about apostrophes, Justin? Insert smiley emoticon here.
This might be my favorite example of apostrophe abuse ever!
