This is technically correct though… The apostrophe indicates possession. If you are to say the Mens Bathroom that would be plural men which is already the plural of man. So saying the Men’s or Ladie’s you are saying it is the bathroom belonging to Men or Ladies. So by saying goto X For Men’s __ and Y for Ladie’s __ The “Restroom” to replace the __ is obviously implied in this sign.
