Aura Photo’s

Julie writes:

This was last night, in one of those astrology-and-wizards-and-dragons-and-incense type stores in Glendale, AZ. There were two teenagers standing next to me while I took the picture, so I felt a little self-conscious and told them about your blog. (“How weird,” said the girl.) It took them a couple of seconds to see the mistake. The guy goes, “OH! YEAH! Like the photos own the aura!” Then the girl did a little “we’re not worthy” praise at me with her arms.

This is technically correct, if a bit archaic, if the apostrophe is meant to denote the omission of graph in Photographs.

The story made me laugh more than the photo. LOL

One technically correct as you’ve described if the writer would use one in the singular (as in “get your aura photo’ here”), which I doubt.

Oops. First word of my comment should be “only”.
