London shopping mall overrun by apostrophes

…sign that I photographed several years ago in a London shopping mall. I wondered why the ‘edges’ and the ‘shoes’ missed out on the apostrophiliac’s generosity.

    I lived in England a few years ago, and am firmly convinced that the English consider punctuation (apostrophes in particular) to be completely decorative.
