I have as well noticed, but nothing is worse than the abuse of quotation marks. I drive by on a regular basis a Dental office, although it may be a mouth torture office with inexperienced hacks parading as Dentists. The sign is simply:<br/><br/>"Dentists"<br/><br/>yikes!
