Grocery stores seem to have the most egregious apostrophe abuses. There have been many I’ve missed because I didn’t have my camera on me, but these two… oy. “Greek Cheese’s” is pretty normal, but “Chicken Cordon Blue’s” took the cake for me.

That is hilarious! I have as well noticed, but nothing is worse than the abuse of quotation marks. I drive by on a regular basis a Dental office, although it may be a mouth torture office with inexperienced hacks parading as Dentists. The sign is simply:
“Dentists”
yikes!

I appreciate that this is a site dedicated to the apostrophe, but the very worst case I saw was a greengrocer’s full stop.
Outside a social club in Fair Oak, England, there was a notice board advertising the fact that
New member.s always welcome
Sadly I didn’t have my camera.
