Or “be into win” something? And do they mean that winning entitles you to a new DVD player each month? I know I have space in my house for only 2 DVD players, let alone 12…

The draw referred to is the process of drawing a card out of the collection to determine a winner. And there are many occurrences of the word being used to refer to the thing in a desk where old pens and paper clips, etc., go to die.
