Abuse on a parking sign

Jeffrey writes:

Why the person who made this sign thought employees needed an apostrophe, but owners and operators did not, is beyond me.

Agh! I recently discovered this blog, and I want to thank you so much for what you are doing. I see misused apostrophes everywhere. I'm an English major, and it annoys me.

They think "employees" needs an apostrophe because its singular form ends in a vowel. That error is becoming increasingly common.

Some of the worst grammar I've ever seen has come from English majors.

What I want to know is... how do any of these signs get professionally manufactured without someone correcting these errors?
