Maybe they actually beat their competitors, and the part that says “tire prices” is a separate thought entirely – just that they have tire prices.
Or they’re just not paying attention.

Thank god somebody took a picture of this! I saw a similar sign at the Sears Auto Center in Marlborough, MA and was SO disappointed that I didn’t have a camera.
